Favorable climatic conditions, isolation of the bay from storm and heavy weather allow to carry out repair works all-year-round, regardless of weather conditions.

For repair and modification shipyard has two floating docks of 8500 t and 4500 t lifting capacity each a floating crane of 100 t lifting capacity. Total berthage exceeds 1000 meters, water depth along the berth is up to 6 meters. Berths are equipped with four gantry cranes of up to 20 t lifting capacity each.

YUZHNIY SEVASTOPOL renders services in technical supply of ships and also performs technical management of ships in operation.

One of shipyard’s activities is wide range of ship’s fitting-out from non-equipped hulls as well as ship’s conversion into train ferries capable to carry railway wagon.

On the territory of the yard there are Terminal Yug-Service Ltd. ship agency, Crimean Expert and Design Bureau, and branch establishment Morconsultingservice, rendering services of customs broker.

The waterways enable all-year-round navigation and access to the Mediterranean Sea and the World Ocean.
